What to Expect During Your Lip Blush Appointment:
First, I will draw the shape of your "new" lips, allowing you to assess and make any desired adjustments. To ensure your comfort, a topical anesthetic can be applied before the procedure, gently numbing the lips for about 20 minutes. Most clients are quite comfortable without but the option is always available.
At my studio, I pride myself on customization. Each client's natural base color is carefully assessed, and I expertly customize and blend colors to achieve the most natural look possible. I advise keeping the colors close to your natural range, ensuring a seamless and authentic enhancement.
The duration of the appointment typically ranges from one to three hours, depending on your desired outcome. After the procedure, it's normal for your lips to be slightly swollen—remember, it's a tattoo. You may use ice packs if needed to reduce any discomfort. Over the following week, your lips will go through the healing process, which may involve some scabbing. We recommend scheduling your appointment thoughtfully to accommodate your daily activities.

Important to Know
POLICY:
- Please bring your government issued ID. No ID, no service.
- Video recording will not be allowed.
- Please do not bring…. children or guests to your appointment or your appointment will be rescheduled.
- Please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out necessary paperwork.
- Do not drink alcohol (24 - 48) hours prior to your appointment.
- No caffeine, nicotine, fish oil, or blood thinning medications 48-72 hours prior to your appointment (use of these will affect healed results).
- No smoking 72 hours before lip blushing. It is recommended to avoid smoking after a lip blushing procedure as well, you might lose pigment.
- No herbs and spices prior to your appointment: Black pepper, Cardamom, any member of the Zingiberaceae (Ginger) family, Cayenne, Cinnamon, Garlic, Horseradish, Mustard.
- No electrolysis for at least (5 weeks) before the appointment.
- No Botox, AHA products and retinoids (6) weeks prior to the appointment.
- No exfoliating treatments such as: microdermabrasion (4) weeks prior to appointment.
- No chemical peels and/or laser treatments less than (6) weeks prior to appointment.
- Patients prone to cold sores/fever blisters should take an anti-viral prior to treatment.
- Hormone therapies can affect pigmentation and/or cause sensitivity.
- Any balance on services MUST be paid the time of your appointment via (Credit/Debit, CashApp, Venmo, Cash).
- If you are more than 15 minutes late your appointment will be rescheduled.
- Abusive, vulgar or offensive language will not be tolerated. We have the right to refuse you service.
- Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- All deposits will be applied to the total price of the service.
LIP BLUSHING SERVICES:
If you currently have or have ever experienced cold sores (even once) an anti-viral medication is suggested to reduce the likelihood of a cold sore flare up. This medication can be prescribed by your physician or dentist and should be taken 3-4 days prior to your appointment and throughout your healing process. Without taking this precaution, the treatment area can result in a very intense flare up. If the prescription can not be prescribed, Lysine can be taken to help decrease the chances of a flare up.
LIP BLUSHING PRE-CARE:
- No antibiotics taken 2 months prior
- Drink lots of water and come well hydrated
- 6 weeks prior remove all Retin A (retinol,retinal,tretinoin) and alpha hydroxy acid products that encourage exfoliation on the treatment area.
- 72 hours prior do not consume blood thinners, aspirin, caffeine (including teas), smoking, alcohol, soda, Vitamin E, fish oil, etc.
- No smoking 72 hours before lip blushing. It is recommended to avoid smoking after a lip blushing procedure as well as during the healing process as it can alter the color.
- 72 hours prior, gently exfoliate lips with a towel after steamed in shower or use a sugar & honey scrub & keep moisturized with Aquaphor.
LIP BLUSHING POST-CARE:
- No eating for 5 hours after treatment to prevent the chance of irritation and infection.
- FOODS TO AVOID: Spicy, acidic, oily and greasy.
- Do not smoke cigarettes while lips are healing. You could lose color.
- When lips begin to shed do not pick, peel or exfoliate them.
- Apply ointment multiple times a day for 10 days to keep the lips moisturized.
- Do not use any soaps or chemicals on lip area.
- Do not expose lips to direct sunlight or tanning beds.
- Keep your hands clean and avoid touching lip area until 100% healed.
EYELINER PRE-CARE:
- It is recommended that you eat before your appointment.
- Avoid tanning one week prior to the procedure.
- Eyelash extensions should be removed 3 days prior to this procedure. No eyelash perm and/or tinting at least 3 days prior.
- Discontinue Retin-A one week prior to the procedure. No Botox around the eye 2 weeks prior.
- Eyelash growth serums like Latisse bring extra circulation to the lash line area which results in more growth of hair/lashes. This can cause the skin to be hypersensitive and bleed easily. It is recommended to discontinue the use of the products at least 3-6 months before your treatment.
- Do not wear eye makeup on the day of your appointment.
- If you wear contact lenses, please wear glasses on the day of your appointment.
CANCELLATION /RE-SCHEDULING POLICY:
- If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must notify us at least (72) hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in your deposit being forfeited and a charge of 100% of your remaining balance. You are allowed to reschedule your appointment once. If you reschedule your initial appointment, your discounts will be no longer be valid.
NO SHOW / SAME DAY CANCELLATION POLICY:
- All no shows and same day cancellations will forfeit the deposit and charged 100% of the remaining balance of your original method of payment. Additionally, you may be banned from any future appointments until the previous balance has been satisfied in full.
REFUND POLICY:
